A Precious Day-

The cycle of a day comes to an end,
this quietest hour begs only to be witnessed,

the remaining light is simply a tease
the calm evening air puts our tired minds to ease.

The sun will rest, and so will we
Tomorrows rise will come indeed

The cycle will replay without our request,
Let’s meet again and tell each other what made today the best.

Let our Only sadness be that it’s coming to an end,
cured by the joy that we can do it again.
